Polish Federation of Supported Employment (PFZW)

The Polish Federation of Supported Employment (PFZW) has been operating since 2015 and brings together organizations from across Poland that promote supported employment for persons with disabilities in the open labor market.

The Federation unites communities engaged in implementing supported employment initiatives and highlights the opportunities and contributions of persons with disabilities to the country’s economic and social life. PFZW operates in line with the highest international and European standards.

The Federation disseminates knowledge and standards of supported employment among institutions, organizations, and business representatives. It promotes an ethical approach to supporting persons with disabilities in their integration into society, with particular emphasis on the workplace.

Our activities are based on the guidelines of the Association for Supported Employment Europe (EUSE) and are consistent with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The goal of PFZW is to promote the supported employment model, which enables persons with disabilities to undertake paid and potentially permanent work on an equal basis with other employees.

The Federation supports its member organizations through knowledge and experience exchange, the creation of quality standards, and actions aimed at building open, inclusive, and ethical workplaces.

Through work, persons with disabilities can feel independent, needed, and valued, while their contribution benefits society as a whole.

PFZW exists to ensure that every person with a disability has equal employment opportunities and can actively participate in social and professional life.
